Characteristics
The golf course, desinged in cooperation with the American William W. Amick and the Italian Giorgio Ferraris, is very varied and snakes through palm trees, century-old olive groves and five lakes of the south Italian coast. Furthermore the fairways are very neat and seem to challenge the players to use all their clubs.

Actually a candidate for 3.5 stars:
Negative: quite boring, few holes are memorable. Only one large lake, and it's not really involved in any of the holes.
Positive: The course was in good condition at the end of December, the greens even superb. The bunkers, which were criticized in another review, were also excellent.
The real kicker, however, is the price: only 55 euros during the week, and you also get a full 50% discount with Golfamore.

Positive: 65€ green fee, also on weekends
Annoying: poor signage, costs nothing and helps enormously, especially when you have to cross fairways. Even tee 1 is difficult to find, so ask at the office.
