The course spreads out between the Castle Acaja, the Adriatic Sea and the nature reserve of the Cesine. Dense oak forests and wide olive groves limit the demanding 18-hole-course, which also poses a challenge to experienced golfers thanks to its three lakes.

Excellent design, good condition

In early January, the absolute off-season, the course was in good condition. The tee boxes were fine, the fairways and semi-rough had a few brown patches, which should be forgiven in January, and the greens were fast and true.
What truly sets this course apart, however, is its layout. The front nine lanes wind through varied, slightly wild terrain, and the fairways are so generously spaced that you'd need some pretty extreme trajectories to hit someone on the adjacent fairway.
The Back Nine winds around two large lakes and a chain of smaller lakes, making it not only challenging but also visually stunning.
For me, this is the best golf course in the south of the Italian boot.

Wildly romantic

Wild course with varied fairways. Everything is a bit old. Lots of weeds on the fairways, lots of brown spots on the greens. Tees are barely visible and not well maintained. Some real challenges on the tees and quite long fairways, especially the pair of 3s. The restaurant looks inviting, but the selection was very limited (nice salads). Good access, but difficult to find as it is not in the resort!
