Alpine Foreland Golf Resort

Also, this golf resort we have visited in our Upper Austria Golf Tour - even if we only played the 18-hole course, but have not lived there.
The Bergergutkurs (holes 1-9) and the Panorama Course (hole 10-18) make up the 18-hole course.
Rate this division has us a little confused at first and also the search for 10-hole extended. Also the way to the hole 2 runs through a wooded area and we were not always sure whether we are on the right track.
The 18-hole course stretches completely flat over the area and is also not too difficult to play due to the mostly wide fairways. Here you can also enjoy unpack the driver and also the rough forgives failures mostly.
Not we liked the split of Green Lane 4 and 6 The confused especially when the space is the first time and at the same time approaches the Green by Lane 4 and 6. Matter of taste - but I'm not a fan of split greens.
Course was in very good condition care - both fairways and bunkers and greens.
In good weather there is always a fantastic view over the Alpine foothills and Alps.
The 9-hole Scherndlgutkurs we have not recorded during our visit. The place looks a little hillier but partly.
For example, a week-long vacation certainly a nice place to stay in order to relax and play golf. Not only because of the Golf Village (Holiday Homes) incl pond but because so few other golf clubs in the surrounding area are that you could manage in this framework.
The Clubhouse Restauran "host in G'wölb" (including the basement of the local schnapps distillery) you can recommend with good conscience. Nice, hospitable staff, good food and all at fair prices. The large terrace with hole 18 invites you to relax after your round.

Highly recommended the entire resort!
Place is very beautiful and varied. Place Bergergut and panorama combine to create a great 18 hole. Place Scherndlgut is probably underestimated by many, but is also good for golfers times ne great variety. However, a few meters are to be completed, in contrast to the other 18 holes.
Generous training facilities available, also for the important short game.
We are one week in Apartment on Golf Course usual, great amenities with views over the practice green and driving range. Very rich mini bar with local wines at good prices.
Restaurant good, nice terrace.
Overall, a great destination, especially if you can stay a few days. It has enough good golf courses.
