Characteristics
The hilly terrain of the Welser heath gives the course a sportive character. A special challenge pose the eight ponds and the Wyer creek, which has to be played across twice. The many strategically placed bunkers cause an additional increase of the level of difficulty.

Golf Club Wels

I regularly do in Linz area, so most places already know quite well. Golfing in Wels I can only conditionally recommend: beautiful place, location status moderate, bad service, no carts allowed, little etiquette.
All around - Gc Linz St. Florian, Linz and Bad Hall Gc-air mountain - gibts clearly better golf, and I Murhof as Gc-member (and Zweitmietglied in Mur) the Gc Linz St. Florian clearly prefer.
