A pleasant stay with room for improvement

The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The lodges were rather luxuriously furnished (various options for dimming the lights, a TV with Netflix and YouTube, a great bathroom with a rain shower, a spacious safe, a kettle, and a Nespresso machine). The transfer to the golf course was arranged immediately after a phone call. However, we still recommend renting a car due to the resort's remote location.

The food was of very high quality. Breakfast left nothing to be desired, and dinner was offered à la carte. The only downside was the very limited selection (3 meat/sausage options, 3 fish options, 2 vegetarian options), which quickly led to repetition during a week-long stay. Furthermore, the staff's statements regarding what was included in the half-board option and what had to be paid for separately were contradictory almost every evening. The choice was always a starter, a main course, and a dessert. Side dishes could also be selected; these were included on some days and charged separately on others.
The room cleaning took place in the late afternoon (well after 4 pm).

The golf course was in impeccable condition, the greens very true and fast. It wasn't too busy in November, so we were even able to play ahead of our booked tee time. We only had one slow group ahead of us that week, but they let us through quickly. The staff is very relaxed and helpful; rescheduling tee times (days) due to the weather was absolutely no problem. The fairways are quite narrow in places, and the holes are close together in some spots, so you should let the players on the adjacent hole play through before your shot (holes 5 and 6, holes 7 and 4, and a tee shot that veers left on the 16th can even land on the 17th tee box). We thoroughly enjoyed our rounds.

The clubhouse is closed on Mondays, but on all other days you'll find friendly staff and a comprehensive menu with (affordable) and very tasty snacks. The view of holes 10 and 18 and the Atlantic Ocean is breathtaking.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Next time, we would prefer an earlier room cleaning upon check-in, as 4:30 pm or later is simply too late. We would also rent a car again and eat out, as the dinner options are quite limited.

How do I book my trip online?

After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.

By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?

The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.

How can I redeem my discount code?

You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.

Can I cancel or rebook my trip?

Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
