Welcome to The Chedi El Gouna - the exclusive, eco-friendly luxury resort in the heart of one of Egypt's most attractive holiday destinations. This magnificent beachfront retreat offers a total of 82 elegant rooms and suites. The boutique hotel's architecture is timeless, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings and the region's architectural traditions. The rooms are elegantly and modernly furnished, decorated in subtle colors for an atmosphere that promotes calm and relaxation, while the earthy color palette and natural materials add a touch of warmth. The beds are fitted with high thread count Egyptian linen. The bathrooms feature thick, fluffy terry towels. The furniture and fittings are from some of the world's leading artisans and ensure a feel-good atmosphere.

Great start to the season with a fantastic hotel!

The Chedi provides an excellent setting for a wonderful holiday – the manageable number of rooms and therefore guests is a real plus. This means there's no crowding or jostling, neither at mealtimes, nor at the pool, in the fitness center, or the spa. The food is of a very high standard, and there's varied entertainment at dinner.
One minor drawback - several rooms are very exposed to the surrounding paths - this results in a lack of privacy in the room or on the terrace.
Despite good course conditions, EL GOUNA GOLF was unfortunately overcrowded, with many groups; throughput seemed important, and handicap restrictions would be appropriate.
ANCIENT SANDS, on the other hand, is significantly more customer-oriented; the service is very friendly, and rebooking tee times from the other club is straightforward. From midday onwards, a brisk pace of play is possible in a two-person flight. The new section (1-9) differs considerably from the "old" holes 10-18. The wind plays a significant role, and a golf cart is recommended for the long fairways and sometimes very long distances between holes.
All transfers were perfectly organized, and the return trips from the campsite to the hotel by tuk-tuk were an inexpensive and enjoyable experience.

How do I book my trip online?
After you have received an offer, which you like, please click on the orange button "Book now". Then fill out the short questionnaire (regarding information about travellers and tee times) and send the form. After receiving your booking, we will verify the availability of the hotel. Once your stay is confirmed by the hotel (usually within one working day), you will receive our confirmation email together with an invoice for the amount due. The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by standard bank transfer. In case the hotel is not available for the requested booking period, your booking will be cancelled without any charge, and you will be informed immediately.
How can I pay for my trip?
The invoice can be paid online by credit card or by bank transfer. In the our email with your invoice you will find the link to the online payment system as well as the invoice in PDF format with our bank details.
By when do I have to pay for my trip and how much is the deposit?
The deposit is 20 percent and is due immediately. The balance is due four weeks prior departure.
How can I redeem my discount code?
You can enter the discount code from the Albrecht Golf Guide in the booking form. Alternatively, please send us your discount code by email to travel@albrecht.de, after the booking has been confirmed.
Can I cancel or rebook my trip?
Yes, you can cancel at any time. Up to 35 days before departure of your trip cancellation is free of charge for you, unless there are other cancellation conditions listed on your offer and invoice. We have a few hotels that do not offer free cancellation when using an early bird discount. However, more over 90 percent of our partner hotels allow free cancellation up to 35 days before arrival. After that, staggered cancellation fees apply.
