The staff is friendly and helpful, the transport to the sea and the golf course works wonderfully.
The breakfast buffet could be better, especially with the fruit the selection was one-sided.

The location of the hotel is around 20 km from Playa del Carmen. Without a car you only have the option to eat within the Mayakoba complex in the hotel or in the various restaurants of the surrounding resort hotels Banyan Tree and Rosewood. The prices are high. In general, as a European, you have to get used to the tip philosophy, up to 20% off the price list prices.
The beach is beautiful, well-kept and wide. The service is excellent. With small exceptions, it is relaxing on the beach in contrast to the beach clubs on the beaches of Playa del Carmen. The Mayakoba Golf is extremely well maintained and beautifully located in the Mongrove Forest. The organization and the service are perfect.
