Characteristics
Located just six miles west of Manchester, Worsley Golf Club offers a tranquil parkland escape within easy reach of the city. Although founded in 1894, the current layout owes much of its character to the legendary James Braid, who redesigned the course in the 1930s. The 18-hole course features gently rolling fairways lined with mature trees, requiring accuracy rather than sheer power. A standout feature is the striking 19th-century black-and-white timbered clubhouse. Here, golfers can relax on the balcony, enjoying fine food and commanding views of the 1st tee and the 18th green.

In-house catering team offers diverse menus, from fine dining to buffets. Formal catering for 60, buffets for 100 guests. Main hall capacity 100 for events. Extensive parking. Catering hours (September) are generally 11am-4:45pm (Mon-Fri), 8am-6:45pm (Sat), 11am-4:45pm (Sun). Hours may change for functions/competitions. Clubhouse closes 30 mins after last orders.
