Characteristics
Situated in the scenic landscape of West Yorkshire, West Bradford Golf Club combines rich history with a technical golfing challenge. Founded in 1900, the course was significantly shaped in the 1940s by the renowned architects Hawtree + Son. Their legacy lives on in the layout, particularly at the signature 4th and 5th holes. Although not excessively long at roughly 5,700 yards, this par-69 course demands precision over power, featuring undulating terrain, tight fairways, and sloping greens that test even seasoned players. A constant westerly breeze often adds to the difficulty. The experience is completed by the Grade II listed clubhouse, a former Manor House dating back to 1720, offering a wonderfully atmospheric setting for post-round dining.
