VALUE FOR MONEY

HAD THE OPPERTUNITY TO PLAY THIS GEM OF A COURSE IN JANUARY, WHAT A GREAT CHALLENGING COURSE, WIDE OPEN FAIRWAYS BUT DONT GET TOO COMFORTABLE, THE WIND DEFFINETLY COMES INTO PLAY AS WELL AS THE SURROUNDING FYNBOS.
CLUB FACILITYS ARE MODEST BUT ABLUTION FACILITYS HAVE BEEN RECNTLY UPGRADED AND ARE NEAT AND CLEAN, DRINKS VERY WELL PRICED.

FOR REAL VALUE FOR MONEY GREEN FEES AND CART HIRE /
CHOOSE THE RIGHT TIME OF DAY AND YOU HAVE THE COURSE TO YOURSELF VERY NICE COURSE TO PRACTICE OR INTRODUCE NEWBIES TO THE GAME OF GOLF

Great-experience

Played there recently after almost 10 years and impressed with the improved condition of the course. A lot of the thick bush has been cleared and greens are true and quick, better than the other 9 hole course in St Helena bay!

An outstanding nine hole course

I have had the privilege twice to play this gem of a course. While the country side is flat the course's challenge lies is the rather thick bush that surrounds most of the fairways. The prevailing southeaster wind also add to the challenge. The fairways are lush green kikuyu grass and the spacious greens are a mixture of Poa and Bent grass.

The course is in magnificent shape and very good value for money makes it a "should certainly play" course. In August and September the abundance of the well known Westcoast wildflowers decorate the course even more!

Very modest golf course

The place is located just outside Vredenburg. For the green fee I paid 140 Rand. The fairways and greens are in a very modest condition. The area suffers from a very dry climate. Will not play the court a second time.
