Overall, the system is quite boring to play. Apart from the length and the flags, which are mostly placed on the edge, there are no challenges whatsoever. Anyone who seeks exclusion will do so in vain. All lanes have red markings on the edge, i.e. they are marked as penalty areas. There was probably a bit too much of a good thing. The tees are mostly uneven and plowed. The greens look good, but are so slow that you think you are still on the fairway. You can't expect service. The clubhouse doesn't open until 12 p.m. Until then you have to make do with booking machines or bring food and coffee with you from home. However, it's even easier if you drive 2 minutes further to GC Clostermann. You can still talk to nice people at the counter from 8 a.m. onwards.

The golf course is very modern, as you know it from golf resorts on vacation. Lanes 1 and 10 start from the clubhouse and lanes 9 and 18 end directly in front of the clubhouse or in front of the large terrace, where a large pond comes into play on the side.
In particular, the imposing white clubhouse offers these courses an impressive backdrop.
The fairways are pleasantly wide, bunkers and obstacles are placed appropriately. Especially the well-tended, very large and slightly wavy greens create a lot of fun. Around the greens, small hills and waves await imprecise approaches at almost every hole. Exact short game helps.
The layout of the golf course is mostly flat and very pleasant to play. The large driving range and the large practice areas in front of it are also worth mentioning.
In the clubhouse, in addition to the bistro, there is also the kitchen of the Landhaus Velte, both of which are highly recommended.

I have already been able to play this course at different times of the year and thanks to the cooperation "deingolfplus. Com" even GF-free. From my point of view there is nothing to criticize.
The course is consistently flat and pleasant to play. The fairways are fair, the greens are quite demanding.
I would like to say very positively that even in December (2021), when other clubs block their summer tees and greens or switch to winter tees / greens, these were released. Even the use of push / electric carts was allowed.
Unfortunately, some players don't seem to take it that seriously with mending their pitch marks, but that's not only the case in this club. Nevertheless, the greens were in very good condition at this time of the year, so some golf clubs can even learn a lot in the summer.
Big compliments to the greenkeeping team!
The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. The clubhouse made a very good impression.
Unfortunately, the gastro was closed on December 27th, 200221 ( "between the years"), but should be reopened from the beginning of January 2022. I will definitely come back soon and then visit the gastro after the round.

Friendly staff and an outstanding clubhouse make for a very good first impression. Also the training area (range, putting green, ...) is very good. The place is in my opinion fair and the main difficulty is the length. For men over 6000m of yellow already is a challenge. Water comes only 2 holes into play. The fairways are generally very wide, but who missed the fairway anyway almost always lose his ball in the bushes. Fairways, bunkers and greens were well kept in very good condition and the system in general. The reason I only give 4 stars that I missed a little bit the highlights have (no holes remain completely in memory and too many holes are too similar) and the greens were a bit too slow. But otherwise a great place, great clubhouse, friendly atmosphere and in the Cologne district definitely always a round value. Very fair price-performance ratio. Gladly again!

The flat and quiet place is simple but rated in my view, because of the many bushes / trees right and left of the fairways and some bounds areas and some water hazards not quite so easy to play. Also, there are a few well-placed bunkers. Overall, the layout is not earth shattering but not boring. High HC should take a few more balls. The current green fee is € 52.50 when booking online or with 40, - € for last minute booking at the counter absolutely justifiable, especially on weekends. Positively: No charge for guests without a hologram and everything is very informal. May be paid only by debit card. The reception in the office is more businesslike. Currently, we lack the discount panels on the tracks that can be problems for players who are not familiar. On demand me a Birdiebook was passed. The season is usually, especially on weekends, very high, so definitely reserve a tee time. Since many are traveling with HC 54 it is now and wait times. There is a short course and a practice area.
