Characteristics
Located just a kilometer from the center of Uusikaupunki, Uudenkaupungin Golfklubi offers a distinct seaside golfing experience. Founded in 1983, the club features the 18-hole Ykskoivu course, which blends open parkland fairways with undulating forest terrain. The sea is a constant companion, most notably on the 13th hole, which famously features a "beware of boaters" sign. The facility creates a relaxed atmosphere, complete with a driving range, the Brasserie Golf restaurant, and traditional saunas.

Restaurant Brasserie Golf is located in a historic hospital milieu by the sea, offering over 100 seats. It serves homemade lunch on weekdays 10:30-15:00 and hosts private events. The restaurant is run by MasterChef 2024 winner Marita Frimodig.

The Pro Shop is operated by PorkkanaGolf, Finland's largest reseller of used golf balls, based in Rauma. It offers a wide selection of branded golf balls, including those for women, and features an outlet section with discounted quality products. Custom logo balls and products are also available.

Golf instruction is provided by PGA Golf Pro Ella Salminen. Lessons are available for 1-2 people (1x55min 65€, 4x55min 230€, 6x55min 330€) and on-course (9 holes 125€, green fee not included). Additional persons +10€. Winter lessons are held in the Vahterusring simulator.
