Great views, great design and perfect course maintenance, but you have that everywhere in Scotland!

Absolute world class!
Whether the fairway bunkers look better as fringe bunkers than the old pot bunkers is a matter of taste!
The passage of holes 8.9, 10.11 on the Ailsa Course is one of the best I've ever played!!! The course has no weaknesses and almost consistently spectacular views and tracks!
Still, I have Royal County Down and Trump Aberdeen Links a touch ahead of Turnberry Ailsa, which I wasn't really expecting. The weather during our visit was super Scottish, maybe that spoils the overall impression!
But one thing is clear, the Ailsa Course is world class!
