Lochgreen is the best of the trio of Troon municipal courses, which offer a more economical excellent golfing experience. Lochgreen is a Par 74 running parallel at points to Royal Troon and used for several years as a qualifier for the Open. Although Lochgreen is predominately a links type course, holes of a more parkland type are in the "dovecot section".

Easy in every respect

Hole Green is one of three directly adjacent public golf courses. Accordingly, it is at the weekend too! The tracks are simply laid out, little wit. The quality of the fairways and greens is very simple with only 3 seats. Can actually just so serve for the peckish while waiting on the many beautiful golf courses surrounding the resort. The clubhouse has the atmosphere of an old railway waiting-rooms. But after all, the culture also Scottish golf as a recreational sport, maybe because we are a bit spoiled. The pro shop is small but cute and had very interesting and deals.
