Characteristics
Designed by Lionel Hewson, Thurles Golf Club is a beautifully matured parkland course. Lined with majestic trees this course features a number of intimidating holes. The feature holes are the four par threes, the best being the 11th leading to a small target that is well bunkered. The 18th is a par 5 with out of bounds all the way up the left, that has destroyed many good scorecards.
Thurles has a splendid clubhouse with excellent catering and the warm and friendly welcome will make you want to come back for more.

Nice parkland course. The bunkers in very bad conditions. As far o.k.
