There is something!

The 9-hole course has two completely different loops in which 10 greens and 18 tees have been built. This means that you play the course one day in one direction (South Course) and the next day you turn the course around (North Course) and play a completely different way! The design (e.g. the bunkers) is such that the greens can be played from the other side and everything is still perfect!
The course is completely surrounded by forest and is located in a kind of huge sand/gravel pit in which this unique links style golf course was built on sandy soil!
You will see for yourself that Valley Links has two completely different 9-hole golf courses. I have never seen such an interesting and innovative golf course! In golf-mad Holland, people have been showing what they can do with “new golf course projects” for years and are proud of it!
We could learn a thing or two from that, especially in golf course construction!
The clubhouse with pro shop, catering, sanitary and changing rooms is modern, functional and beautifully built, located above the 9th green of the South Course!
For me, as written, this facility has two 9-hole golf courses!
I'm happy to give 5 stars (5 stars South and 4.5 North) for Valley Links, really cool!

Modern, sporty, innovative!

Played in early October, early in the morning at 8 o'clock. Very nice welcome, place in top condition, weather autumnal. The golf course is a real gem, partly built on an old landfill. The course has only nine holes, but you can play it as an 18-hole course, as it is the first place in Europe, which is both left and right to play, thus resulting in 18 completely different fairways. With five different markdowns (black, white, yellow, blue, red) it is also particularly varied. I played the North Course (counterclockwise) this morning. The first lane runs from the clubhouse below the landfill along the forest to an elevated green. This is followed by a fairly long par 4, followed by a short par 3. Track 4 is the heaviest, it goes uphill here. The following holes are all on the old landfill body, so they are more exposed to the wind. Here you will find a short par 3 and with track 9 a long par 4, where you should not forgive the ball to the left, because then you are about 15 m lower or in a steep slope. Conclusion: you have to play this course; Absolute highlight!
