Swinley Road, SL5 8AY Ascot, Berkshire, UK

Characteristics

Situated on the historic Crown Estate near Ascot, The Berkshire Golf Club offers a quintessential English heathland experience. Founded in 1928, it features two magnificent courses designed by Herbert Fowler: the Red and the Blue. Both wind through majestic pine forests and swathes of purple heather, demanding precision over power. The Red Course is architecturally distinct, renowned for its unique configuration of six par 3s, six par 4s, and six par 5s. The Blue Course begins famously with a challenging par 3. A traditional atmosphere pervades the clubhouse, where the terrace provides commanding views over the opening hole.
