Will be one of the better one.

Played this course in Nov 2023 and a very pretty design.
Greens are true and fast, the fairways still need a year or so to settle as all is very new.
Friendly staff and good facilities.
Price of 175€ is on the high side, but includes a buggy and Driving range balls (which has a value of 50€ or so).

Its not do easy to find, hope they will put up some signs soon

One of the best courses I have played so far.

I played the course on December 13,2023 and had to fight with the navigation system that wanted to take me to the wrong gate. It's only possible via the main road. The reception is as the previous reviewers wrote: the buggy is already waiting at the parking lot loaded with rental clubs. The friendliness of the staff is amazing. The course itself does not have any water hazards, but you get to know the bunkers. I played from the 57 tees, some of which allow fantastic views of the courses. Wind often comes into play - the sea is only 1 KM away but cannot be seen. Food is also available during the round and the marshal makes sure you don't get lost. For a medium handicapper like me (25.5), the course is a nice, pleasant, sporty challenge with a lot of variety.

Grand Place

Played mid-November 23rd.
Getting there was a bit difficult as there were no signs, either from the country road or within the resort grounds.

Great service from the moment we arrived at the parking lot, the buggy was brought straight to the car, names with start time on the GPS buggy, wooden bag tag with names, extremely friendly staff everywhere.

Balls on the range and practice area are included, the area is also beautifully laid out.

Since there was no one on the course for an hour before or after me, I was able to really enjoy the course, tee off from the 62 or 57 T-Box, etc. The holes themselves are very varied and well built into the landscape. The greens were fast but very true.
A few more rakes should be purchased.

Conclusion: It was a dream day and the 2 hour drive from the Algarve was really worth it. Repetition will definitely follow.

A new top spot

I played the Dunas Course as part of a soft opening in September 2023. A new place has been created here that will soon be one of the top 5 in Portugal. The course meanders between pine forests and dune landscape. Water does not come into play, but there is a lot of waste area made of white sand. From the back two tees you sometimes need a healthy drive length to reach the fairway. Cart is required and you get a personalized bag tag. In contrast to Troia without a sea view, but more of a parkland course. The clubhouse is currently still being built. Some tees and fairways still need to grow in a bit. But when everything is finished, it will certainly be one of the best things you can play in Portugal at the moment. Hotels and another course are to be built in the immediate vicinity. One can only hope that the area around Comporta retains its originality, as it is one of the most beautiful in Portugal.
