Located just 25 minutes from Stockholm, Täby Golfklubb offers a peaceful retreat along the western shores of Lake Vallentuna. Founded in 1968 and designed by Nils Sköld, the 18-hole course reflects the typical character of the Roslagen region. While not excessively long, the layout demands strategic play due to its undulating terrain and challenging greens. Golfers can enjoy an undisturbed game surrounded by nature. The facility also features a 5-hole short course, extensive practice areas, and a welcoming restaurant in the clubhouse.

A nice golf experience

Täby Golf is a very nice course with hills, land and water experience.
The greens and fairways are in good conditions and some holes like nr 3,5,11,12 and 14 require correct tactic and skill. The club-house is nice and the restaurant serves good food. The staff members are pleasant and offering good service. However a major reconstruction should take place as soon as possible in both buildings housing the changing rooms (men and women) .

We played the course in June 2024. The various yellow houses give you a truly Swedish welcome. We were served warmly both at reception and in the restaurant. Holes 1-9 are typical woodland course holes. The greens are always slightly elevated and the ball does not bounce onto the green by itself. We liked holes 10-18 even better. They lead to Lake Vallentuna and the view is very beautiful from hole to hole. It's a shame that - as in many places in Sweden - there are a large number of broken tees lying around on the tees. If you want to play on a beautiful course that is very typical for Sweden, you have to travel to GC Täby.

Täby is an original place, which is similar to Ullna on a lake! The views across the lake are even more beautiful, we played the Seaside holes 10-18 as a late evening round at 20.00 o'clock!
We experienced "picture book Sweden" for golfers! Trains 1-9 are Woodland fairways, Täby is a little gem!
