Good weather, little wind, a superb links course with all the features you could wish for!
Extremely bumpy fairways, such as on hole 5, are a characteristic of a links course. It's no coincidence that hole 5 is called "The Dunes".
Some of the greens had extreme waves (holes 4,5 and 16), thankfully the greens were not too fast.
The course was good to play from the back tee (white) as there was very little wind. At par 70 and approximately 5650 meters long from the white tees, this is a very playable course for players of a slightly more mature age. The layout is impeccable; it never gets boring.
The bunkers are great to play in, as are the fairways, and they are wide enough except for holes 12 and 13!

Wonderful links course

A classic links course at a fair price. The front nine are basically the outer edge of the course and provide a fantastic view of the sea and the mountains. Hole number 7 runs completely along the sea. With the usual challenges (hard ground, pot bunkers, blind tee shots and possibly a lot of wind). It's fun and is definitely recommended in Donegal.

Welcome to the land of tele-tabbys. The fairways are dotted with hills and the balls jump at will. Greens and tees are very close together on the first 4 lanes. This leads to waiting times and a lack of game speed. From track 5 you have found your rhythm. Holes 13,14 and 15 are completely absurd. One exciting challenge after the other. Hardly a ball stops on the significantly elevated green at hole 15. The green at hole 13 is tiny and has to be played through an entrance lined with high hills. However, the hope that the terrain behind the hills will open up is not fulfilled.

A beautiful golf course with spectacular views of the sea. Very well maintained greens. We have (happy monday) played on a Monday, it cost just € 30 green fee including food & coffee. The food was good and the people super nice. Highly recommended!
