Characteristics
Established in 1934, Sallandsche Golfclub 'de Hoek' is one of the oldest and most atmospheric clubs in the Netherlands. Located near Deventer, this 18-hole course is defined by its rich woodland setting. Originally designed by Frank Spalding and expanded via Frank Pennink's plans, the layout features twelve holes cutting through dense forest, with the remaining six bordered by mature trees. The sandy soil ensures excellent playability year-round, while the charming clubhouse terrace offers a perfect spot to relax after the game.
