Characteristics
The Saare golf course is a convenient 15 minute walk from Kuressaare’s town centre and its many attractions which include its famous medieval castle, beaches and numerous spas.
The 18-hole, Par 72, 6310 meter course was designed by the well known Finnish course architekt Lassi Pekka Tilander with the aim of creating a championship level course suitable for international tournaments.
Developed using today’s best technology and practices, the course has been designed to to meet all USGA standards. Its scenic, undulating fairways form a natural extension of Saaremaa’s unique wilderness.
Also included in the facility are a driving range, 2 par 3 holes, practice bunkers, putting and chipping greens.
Owner of Saare golf course is Saare Golf OÜ.
The whole course was opened in August 2008.

The place is wonderfully integrated into the landscape, partly open, partly challenging by water hazards and bunker. To beat off the white teas is just like in many places just what for real experts.
