Characteristics
The Saare golf course is a convenient 15 minute walk from Kuressaare’s town centre and its many attractions which include its famous medieval castle, beaches and numerous spas.
The 18-hole, Par 72, 6310 meter course was designed by the well known Finnish course architekt Lassi Pekka Tilander with the aim of creating a championship level course suitable for international tournaments.
Developed using today’s best technology and practices, the course has been designed to to meet all USGA standards. Its scenic, undulating fairways form a natural extension of Saaremaa’s unique wilderness.
Also included in the facility are a driving range, 2 par 3 holes, practice bunkers, putting and chipping greens.
Owner of Saare golf course is Saare Golf OÜ.
The whole course was opened in August 2008.
