Founded in 1937, Rungsted Golfklub is one of Denmark’s most distinguished parkland courses. Designed by C.A. MacKenzie, brother of the famous Alister MacKenzie, the 18-hole layout is set in a lush natural environment teeming with wildlife. Built on peat soil, the course ensures green fairways and a soft turf even during dry summers. The design incorporates streams, lakes, and mature trees that demand strategic placement off the tee, particularly on the challenging closing stretch. The signature 15th hole is renowned for its blooming rhododendrons in May. Worth a detour!

The site offers very well maintained and exciting trip holes and leaves a very positive impression overall. These Bahen 2.5 and 15, a par 3 secluded in the woods. The railway line leading through the court interferes with the game only a little. The trees are impressive, water comes into play more often. The club house is stylish, even if not very fequentiert.
