Situated on the historic Therfield Heath, Royston Golf Club offers a unique golfing experience where history and nature converge. Although officially founded in 1892, the site’s golfing heritage reportedly dates back to 1624. The 18-hole heathland course sits on free-draining chalk, providing a fast-running "links" feel and excellent year-round playability. Golfers navigate around ancient Bronze Age barrows and rare flora within a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Elevated tees offer spectacular views over Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, while a 3-hole academy course and welcoming clubhouse complete the facilities.
