The club is distinguished by its clubhouse, Sudbrook Park, an early-Georgian mansion dating to 1725 that stands as a magnificent example of Palladian architecture. The parkland course, originally designed by Tom Dunn in 1891 and later refined by Peter Thomson’s firm, rewards strategy over sheer power. Although not excessively long, the Par 70 layout presents a stern test with narrow, tree-lined fairways and intelligent bunkering that demand accuracy off the tee. It offers a unique blend of historic grandeur and wildlife-rich tranquility on the capital's doorstep.
