My husband and I visited on Christmas Day a few years ago and went to the Clubhouse where we had lunch and a drink, we enjoyed the experience very much as Seve fans forever, it was a special day. We went back last October but unfortunately never got past the steps up to the Clubhouse, we were stopped by an official who asked if we were members and when we said no, we were shown the gate to leave. Needless to say we were gutted!! why oh why would you stop a middle aged couple of golfers from visiting the clubhouse for food and the Pro shop for souvenirs? What if we were Golf PGA Officials or someone who just called in to see the place, they didn't even tell us why we were not allowed in, I wonder if anyone else has ever encountered this?

We started a game of four players, none of them were members of the club. At the start, a marshall did not say that we have 4 hours to complete the course, " "4 hours maximum "he emphasizes seriously.
