Not worth the money

Played on a cloudy December 28th 2018.
The good: Warm welcome at the reception, friendly and respectful green keepers on the course. The course layout is great; the greens are in good condition.
The bad: The fairways were freshly mowed, but not well-maintained: They contain a mixture of all kinds of grass. Many bunkers contained almost no sand.
The ugly: Many areas besides the fairway and between the holes look like a construction area or even a waste yard.
Buggies did not include a GPS nor any water bottles. The buggies also had problems to climb some steeper roads, although the battery indicator showed a full charge.

The design from Olazabal is good, but the Greenkeeper needs replacing! The condition is not good - after so much rain the airways are either bare no grass or swimming in water (no water hazard or GUR markings).
No marshall on the course. It looks like they have no money for the course after building the Hotel...

Attractive course, and better than we thought a few years ago. The first few holes suffer a ltlle because of the noise from the highway. Better maintenance and acceptable pace of play. The clubhouse is unter construction.

It was just another golf course around, in Mallorca. Pro shop is rated at 5, driving range and pitching green, and putting green deserves maxim 6, the golf club rented (willson staff, old generation, just 11 clubs, no lob wedge at all) maximum 4, golf design around 8, quality of the greens and fairways... around 8.
Overall, the windmill was the most imppresive thinks there. Restaurant is rated maximum at 6.
All rates are naturally on a scale from 1 to 10 (the best) .
I will not come back, i was dissapointed.

overall poor conditioning. greens have a lot of naked patches, speed is different from green to green, tees look worn out. the only thing worthy of a championship course are the bunkers, which are kept in good condition.
booked an early morning tee-time, to be out before the course gets busy. unfortunately, nobody took care of the morning-dew, so that the moisture on the greens was quite heavy, which made it impossible to putt.
also, members who live by the course apparently just jump into whichever hole runs by their home, not caring much about greenfee players behind them.
however, it is a pretty course that is pleasing to the eye.
but even though this is apparently a seniors-tour-venue, at present this place does not suit a golfer who is serious about his/her game.

Played this course twice now, challenging but not the most beautiful course to play on. Can be held up with tees next to each other. Wouldn't advise walking the course, 18th hole long par 3 between driving range and practice area bit disapointing.

I was at the Pula golf course in March with friends who have been coming to Mallorca for years and play golf there regularly. We were a flight of 4 with a cart and 2 players with trolleys. Already after the third hole, a young marshal warned us that we should play faster, even though no one had to wait because of us, but we had a slow flight of trainers and students in front of us. As the game progressed we let a quicker 2-man flight through. We were watched by this marshal throughout the game and on the third-to-last hole he attacked us so much with his threats that we would have been kicked out long ago on another course and that if we didn't play faster we would be expelled from the course that we were hardly mentally capable were to finish our game with concentration. When a club gives such tight start times, there will certainly be short waits, but this in no way justifies the tone of this marshal. A golfer should play quickly, but does not have to sprint across the course, but should be able to execute his shots with concentration. We were guests who paid a lot of money to play on this course and we would have liked to have been treated as such.
We were treated very courteously at the following 3 places in the immediate vicinity.

Unfortunately, we had the worst value I've ever experienced during our annual golf week in February. 2 days of storm and continuous rain put half the island under water and partly under snow (!!). Overall, the course is usually okay, but the yellow tees are mostly placed on the blue positions and it is therefore much shorter than expected (and paid for). The tees / fairways were not well mowed, but it's the beginning of the season, so I don't expect a TOP well-kept place (especially not after the extreme weather). The service, however, should be improved in terms of communication about the respective space condition. Other places (Son Servera and Capdepera) weren't even open in the first few days, which ultimately led to Pula being almost overbooked despite the cold weather.

We (Hdcp. 30 and 15) really enjoyed a week of Golf Unlimited (arrangement with overnight stay in the Pula Golf Hotel including super breakfast). Despite 30+ degrees (for 6+ weeks), almost all fairways and the rough are still green on the course, the latter is manageably low. The greens were tour-level fast. Most holes require course management (which makes playing exciting as there are always multiple options). Instead of the rough, dips/hills, trees or water come into play - or in our case the wind.
Even after six days we were not bored of the place. We teed off before 9 a.m. - and played a few more holes every now and then at noon/evening. Pushing/pulling the trolley at 30 degrees is already challenging on the pitch, since it's more "undulated" than flat. However, the golf carts easily endured 40 holes.
The driving range is completely new - new carpet and new mats, new Trackman range facility for 10 euros per day, well-kept putting greens. Chip/pitch system a little small - but I can live with that. Also completely new per shop, chart € 40, trolley € 8 per day.
I was skeptical about the place from the rather bad reviews on this site. From my point of view, I cannot confirm this. The condition was good, long rounds usually always depend on other golfers. I find the price-performance ratio of the Golf Unlimited offer (~€1,500 for 2 people / week incl. HB and golf) unbeatable for Mallorca at the moment.

Our second favorite place on our trip to the northeast of the island of Mallorca in February 2019.
