Very well located and the most traditional golf club in the capital city of the State, Porto Alegre Country Club has been the venue for great championships, such as the Aberto Sul-Brasileiro and the professional tournament LG/Vivo PGA Championship. It has also produced great champions, such as the amateur player Elisabeth Nickhorn, the best Brazilian lady golfer for many years.
