Founded in 1899 near Radlett, Porters Park Golf Club presents a classic parkland experience influenced by the legendary J.H. Taylor and Charles Kenneth Cotton. The 18-hole course is defined by picturesque, tree-lined fairways that follow the natural undulations of the land, with a weaving brook adding strategic interest. Thanks to its unique gravel and loam subsoil, the course enjoys exceptional drainage, allowing for year-round play on regular greens without the need for temporaries. Having hosted Open qualifiers, it offers a fair yet testing challenge.

Classic!

A classic in every sense Golf Club. Place good but not outstanding maintained, but good not outstanding created as a classic parkland course, clubhouse good but not very apart from the classic separation between Members and guests and ample obstruction of mahogany UMD brass. Overall, the non-member disturbs here rather insofar as there are for the guest rewarding goals. Especially the green fee rather the self-confidence of the club reflects as the equivalent.
