Characteristics
Located high in the hills above Trevethin, Pontypool Golf Club offers a rugged and scenic experience in South Wales. Founded in 1903, the club is renowned for its spectacular panoramas stretching across the valleys to the Bristol Channel. Although measuring just under 6,000 yards (Par 69), the undulating terrain makes the course play significantly longer, testing golfers with narrow fairways and five distinct Par 3s. Facilities include an indoor academy and 'The View' restaurant, where the scenery is as memorable as the game.
