Characteristics
The Pirin Golf & Country Club is all year round international resort operational since 2009. The Complex is the largest of its kind in South-West Bulgaria and is quickly becoming the second focal tourist point in the region, so far known predominantly for its premier ski resort – Bansko. Huddled in the beautiful Razlog valley, in the foothills of the majestic Pirin Mountain, the 5-star resort offers unique holiday opportunities - superb Winter skiing, golf from Spring to Autumn, spa and relaxation all year round.
Pirin Golf & Country Club features two golf courses .
The pride of the club is the outstanding 18-hole, Par 72 championship course designed by the winning 2006 Ryder Cup Captain, Ian Woosnam. The second course is the Pirin Pine Course – an exhilarating challenge for golfers, named after the surrounding area, featuring 5 fully constructed holes, designed by a young German company.

The golf courses at Pirin Golf & Country Club are a real challenge for every golfer. 18-holes Ian Woosnam design offers you a possibility to play golf in the mountain. For the begiiners we offer 5-holes Pirin Pine course, not so easy, it is in the forest.

Golf Pirin for the 1st time. As preseason training, we, two golf-mad girls, played the course! Despite the bad weather, we had a great week. The course with its extremely high rough - no first cut - demanded a lot, a lot from us! Also because we walked and didn't drive with a cart! The greens were an absolute challenge - very fast and high balls were unfortunately not rewarded. Endless putts like 38/34 etc. were on the score in the evening. Practice area - enthusiasm was the order of the day! And the short course also had its pitfalls and charm! The hard-working greenkeepers conjured up a gem that is absolutely worth visiting. The food in the clubhouse was elegant, well-maintained and served with a lot of love for hospitality! Shuttle service from the hotel to the course was no problem! A driver was ready whenever we wanted! We would love to come back and enjoy this fantastic landscape framed by the Pirin Mountains, whose peaks are still covered in snow! We will definitely be back! By then, there might be a solution for the separated 10th tee—then the course will be perfect again! Great golf from Bettina and Claudia.

I have visited nearly 300 golf courses and Pirin, in my opinion, is definitely in TOP 5. The course is wonderfully located, diverse. Apart from 18 holes, additionally 5 holes with a completely different character in a pine forest. We have a fantastic view from anywhere on the course. In addition, we have great conditions for training in the facility. Huge putting greens, training fields, a great two-sided Driving Range. Everything is in a resort with a very nice hotel, swimming pools and spa zones. An ideal place for a few days' stay, reset or training period. I recommend it to everyone and I will come back for sure more than once

I’ve just played the course (s) for 4 days just coming out of winter and it was in pristine condition. The greens just need another month and they will be excellent.
The course is enjoyable for a scratch golfer like myself to high handicappers like my partner who also loved it. It is difficult to lose a ball unless you hit it into one of the lakes. The bunkers have high quality grade sand in them and are not too steep to frustrate the average golfer.
The clubhouse facilities are second to none and the food is superb.
All in all, a very pleasurable experience and after 44 years playing all over the world, it easily goes into my Top 10
