A warm welcome in the pro shop, where we immediately received some useful tips for playing. There's no proper range: there are two nets for hitting the ball, and below them (we only noticed later) a shorter range. The course's location above the cliffs always offers spectacular views, and combined with the sometimes massive dunes, playing here is an absolute must! Even though the course is relatively short, it's very challenging. We only experienced a little wind; when it really blows here, you'll probably need a high level of frustration tolerance. Some of the greens are so elevated that if you're too short on your approach, the ball will almost be at your feet again.
Overall conclusion: anyone who loves links golf must play this course!

The course is located on the cliffs above the beach. Fortunately, the fairways are relatively wide and forgiving if you don't play exactly over the poles. We had constant sunshine and 16 degrees, but wind force 5-6, which makes this course really difficult, especially with headwinds and crosswinds. Even with the Golfshot app, we often didn't know where to continue playing. On almost every hole, a player has to run ahead and check where the ball went. Luckily, most of the rough is quite thin, so we hardly lost any balls. The layout is fantastic, but the many slopes make it challenging. The ground is rock hard, and the greens are fast and undulating. It's definitely worth playing more than one round, so the subsequent ones are easier. I'd definitely recommend a handicap of at least 20. Only then will you have the lengths and shot shape required here. In conclusion: if you like a challenge, you should definitely tee off here.
