With stunning views over the sea and the extensive golden sands below, few courses are better placed than this. So, pause a moment on the 5th and 14th tees and take in the truly spectacular scenery of which you could never tire.
Taking advantage of the natural contours of the landscape means that James Braid, course designer, was successful in creating each hole with its own individual demands and character. Not only this, but the greens which are fast and absolutely true have a reputation for being amongst the best in the South West.

We would have been completely lost without the birdie book, which is available free of charge with the green fee. Virtually no hole is visible and you're mostly playing into the dark. Nevertheless: with beautiful weather and little wind, we had a great round of golf. The bartender summed it up: you love it or you hate it.

I was in July 2017 on this really nice and original links course. The course has relatively few bunkers, but a very demanding terrain profile. The green fee is more than justified and the members are very friendly both on the pitch and off the pitch. I like left golf and probably also Perranporth. If you are in the area, be sure to play!
