Great course, tough holes!

Panmure is a qualifying course for the Britsh Open when held at Carnoustie. I guess that says it all. You have to be a really good course yourself to get that status. And Panmure is.
Great and really testing holes, excellent greens. Sometimes simply tough. A genuine linkscourse with everything that makes linksgolf great and difficult. At the first hole you might still think it's going to be an easy round, but that's deceiving. A lot of trouble lies ahead. A real test, but surely one you are going to remember for a long time.

An old club, beautiful links course and warm welcome

We played the course in mid-June 2016 rainy Scotland weather. The Panmure Golf Club was founded in 1845; after paying the green fee's in ProShop one notices when entering the clubhouse, as the tradition of the Gulf is still maintained. The club secretary showed us the clubhouse and wished us a nice round... so it was then, despite cold weather we enjoyed the Links Course (about 3/4 of the holes have links character) and the exciting greens. In about 2 3/4 hours, we finished a round, which will always remain in our memories. During lunches in the clubhouse we met two former captains, which many cheerful stories to Panmure Golf and general told us. The ladies, who just had a price distribution have, we all very friendly and welcomed us still beautiful desired holiday. Who plays in Angus, Panmure should not miss.
