Characteristics
The brand new golf course in the Nordics (opened in September 2015) is located in the West-Estonia, Pärnu, just within 10 mins drive from Pärnu City Centre and numerous spas.
The 18-hole, par 72, first links course is designed by a Finnish architect Lassi Pekka Tilander and shaped by Mick McShane, who´s famous works include also Kingsbarns and legendary Castle Course in St.Andrews.
In our modern clubhouse there are located saunas, pro shop, lounge and restaurant EAGLE offering Nordic-Scottish flavours with a local twist. There is also plenty of seafood in the menu, as the chef is inspired by the diet of the course´s patron bird, the osprey. The result is nicely balanced modern menu offering an enjoyable interlude for any golf player or admirer.

This review is part of my travel blog from our vacation. Parnu Bay was our third golf stop on our roadtip. We arrived night before and had chance walk around the course and we catch a nice sunset. This place is my cup of coffee :D its stunning, love the big pine trees and clubhouse. Check in in the morning was very friendly and we were treated very well, once again I liked acceptance of Golfpiste card. We were alowed to play bit earlier so we started, course was nice and calm not many players there. Once again its pretty flat, so no problem to walk. Fairways are wide and soft, there is not much water or deep rought at this time of the year, but there is lot of waste areas. Greens are ubelivable, you really need to bring your A game. I love putting but I had problem to score, but its my fault. I would not con anything there, all is perfect. Actually only small con is that after game the restaurant was close because it was Monday. Signature holes? For me all par 3’s and 18th hole obviously. Training areas were nice as well, big drivin range and academy is awesome. Final refreshement in nice locker rooms and time to move to Niitvalja. I highly recommend, thank you for hospitality.

True left-hand course in the Baltics

Player: Handicap 17/21
Time: June 2026
The course is flat and built entirely on sand – hence the real left-handed feel while golfing. The practice area is equipped with approximately 20 open and 10 covered teeing grounds, a nice short game area, and a par 3 practice course. The restaurant was closed, but snacks and drinks were available from a vending machine. The staff were friendly and efficient.
The fairways wind through relatively open pine forest and, on the back nine, along the sea. Playable waste areas and an impressive waterscape with ponds, streams, lakes, and the lagoon are constant companions throughout the game. The sometimes deep bunkers and the very fast, often heavily undulating, elevated greens increase the challenge.
An absolutely fantastic place, very well maintained and in a wonderful landscape.

Great links course in perfect condition
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed May 13, 2026
Based on the enthusiastic recommendations of an acquaintance, we spontaneously decided to play the course while passing through.
A very friendly welcome in the fascinating clubhouse. Although the restaurant is closed on Mondays, we were offered something to drink and a cappuccino after the round.
The fairways, greens, and everything else were in impeccable condition. The prices for range balls (25 balls) at €3, green fees (€75), and rental clubs (Ping) at €35 are reasonable.
