Founded in 1892, Oldham Golf Club is situated on the edge of Manchester at the foot of the Pennines. This historic moorland course offers a tactical challenge rather than sheer length, rewarding precision over power. At its highest point, 800 feet above sea level, golfers enjoy spectacular panoramic views across four counties, reaching as far as the Welsh hills and the Jodrell Bank telescope. The layout features undulating terrain with a notable climb to the ninth hole. The facility includes a welcoming clubhouse and bar for post-round relaxation.
