Characteristics
Located in Njurunda, Öjestrand GC offers a scenic golfing experience set against the backdrop of Lake Öjen. Designed by Tommy Nordström and opened in 1992, this 18-hole woodland course is defined by its hilly terrain and contour-cut, narrow fairways. The layout demands accuracy over distance, featuring large, undulating greens and water hazards on 13 holes that test players of all levels. Holes 4 and 18 are renowned for their breathtaking views over the lake. Beyond the main course, the club features an accessible 9-hole short course and extensive practice facilities. On-site cabins and apartments allow visitors to stay right by the fairways, complemented by a welcoming restaurant.
