Characteristics
Situated within the picturesque grounds of the Althorp Estate, Northampton Golf Club blends rich history with modern championship golf. Founded in 1893, the club moved to its current Harlestone Park location in 1990, featuring a varied course designed by Donald Steele. The layout begins in mature woodland before opening up to sweeping estate lands. The round concludes with a dramatic finale around an ornamental lake, particularly on the signature 16th hole. The sandstone clubhouse, built on the site of the historic Harlestone House, offers serene terrace views over the water.
