Nice course in Marrakech
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 12, 2018
Love the course and the greens. All well kept. Price affordable. Full of French and hardly any Moroccans in it. I like to meet local players wherever I play. Manager is a golfer herself so that is a bonus. Caddies are jolly. The only downside is the clubhouse. It is the most boring amongst all the ones I've visited all over the world.
Cheers

A must play!

Really good, thoughtful golf course design. Rectangle greens at 8,9 and 18 are very brave but totally blend in to the clubhouse, water feature and building behind 9th tee. Stunning views of the mountains from most holes. Still needs to be finished but will be a great golf venue in the near future. Totally recommend it. AC PGA Pro

Not recommended at the moment

First of all: The greens were ok.
Whether it was the Bermuda grass mentioned above or another variety - the fairways were battered and overseed unsuitable, actually only to play better. The bunker neglected and z. Tl.concrete hard.
Only one flight ahead of us, which took us 5 hours at 34° with a local caddy who should have pointed this out!
Restaurant after the game - none The whole impression points to a lack of financial resources.
There are much better facilities in the area! Shame about the day.

Bermuda!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 23, 2020
The most important first step: This place is completely sown with Bermuda grass. For those who are not familiar with this: This plant rests between November and March, so this place is BLOND during the main golfing trip. Apart from that, the course is extremely flat, not too difficult to rate (rightly), but quite varied. There are lots of bunkers, unfortunately no birdie book so it is often difficult to play the right racket. Greens are often - not always - elevated and are usually heavily protected by bunkers. Fast-forward greens that are less likely to break than in other places in the area. So play the hole more directly. Finding the next one is not always easy, because there are few signs for the long connections, even the holes are sometimes not numbered. Otherwise everything is fine, including the futuristic clubhouse with its panoramic terrace. Good but not world class therefore 4 stars.

Interesting place
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 16, 2019
Everyone can not do it right, the bunkers are too much for one, too little for the other, etc., etc.
I liked the place, you have to play it strategically right, the fairway bunkers you have to avoid, there is space to do so, then you can score quite well.
Greens in great condition, not too fast.
Fairways interesting, with many fairway bunkers, the Back Nine a little tighter and trickier.
I especially liked the par 3 of the eight, with its rectangular water and the rectangular green, something different.
The nine and the 18 also very nice game direction to the beautiful clubhouse!
Terrace use, great view of the greens of the 9 and 18!

Give pleasure
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 11, 2019
Archetically interesting clubhouse with beautiful terrace, the place varied and well maintained, the first nine easy then the second nine Tricky, greens fast and the fairways very hard, balls jump a little uncontrolled. Nevertheless, it is easy and fun

A bit bland
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 12, 2018
Although a well-kept place, but the layout is not great. Relatively monotonous go there, the consistently concreted water hazards are visually no eye candy. Can one "take away" with a Morocco trip. Good greens, very nice clubhouse.

Highly recommended, you should play!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed September 10, 2018
We came to play the Noria Course in Marrakech in September 2018 for the pleasure of playing. We found this one very well maintained, with lush green fairways, good greens and friendly staff. Price / performance is top. No caddy required, carts available. The second 9-hole has to go from green to tea-box long ways, so a cart is very pleasant in the heat. Driving range also fits, the balls are available for free. Finally, the special architecture of the clubhouse should be mentioned.
Will play this place again, was really nice.

Do you have to have played
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 12, 2018
For me, this place is always on my list to be recorded. To play a square fairway and green, where is it?
The driving range is big enough. the first 9 are just right for playing in and the second 9 must be played through ravines. Staff very friendly. Big club house if a bit cool decorated.

Ok for the price
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed June 11, 2018
Unfortunately I could only play the 10-18.1-9, the greens were rehabilitated.
Created very nice. The place is pretty easy to play. The greens are good, but little undulating. The fairways hard, the ball jumps huge. Nothing special, but in between times to play another, inexpensive place, he is ok.

Objective judgment - whether personally liked or not:
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 25, 2018
Had the pleasure to play this course.
Price: ok.
Clubhouse: Exceptional design, something "different", very nice.
Place:
Tea boxes: ok.
Fairways: ok.
Greens: ok.
Many bunkers and "wasteeareas".
Very little water. 3 rectangular greens - something different.
NEGATIVE - and that REALLY:
CART required - very long walkways from green to next tee.
NO CADDYS AVAILABLE :-(
NO CADDYS ALLOWED TO TAKE.
Overall rating: Nice left-hander - not too difficult.

No more!
2.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 12, 2018
Have played the course on 11/03/2018 (Hcp 11 and 15). Honestly - it is completely incomprehensible how this place has been rated so far! The fairways already make a "dry" impression due to their grass! The whole thing is even drier when you have a few holes behind you, but you forget on which course is located, because until the nine only the wind makes the difference. The second cut consists of - after all, plowed fields and lets hope that in the distant future a small plant can be found here again. Even if you feel two three holes on the second nine as a bit of variety in the strategy, this does not make up for the desolation of the place. The same applies to the idea of the fairways 9 and 18 - practical, square, bad! Never again!!!

Bunker without end
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed March 5, 2018
Having played this course due to the very good reviews, however, are quite disappointing. The place has neither flair nor interesting fairways, unless you like straight and with hundreds of bunkers lined fairways.
There is little more to the ASSOUFID Club, a really great place.

Top price / performance
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 7, 2018
Have Noria already played several times and the condition and the layout are in terms of the green fee (from 13:30 clock) for 350 DH absolutely recommendable. Especially the back nine is very varied and strategically challenging. Little going on. Only downside the lush CLUB HOUSE, which is not frequented. have fun

Rectangular greens!!
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 4, 2018
This still quite new course convinces with demanding and varied fairways. The highlight is certainly the central axis, consisting of a long watercourse, two large Ponds (unfortunately in January without water) and the rectangular (!) Greens on the lanes 8-9-18.
The view of the Atlas Mountains is breathtaking.
The exercise is quite spacious.
The only downside: on the cool beer after the round you have to do without (no alcohol in the clubhouse).
Gladly again!!!

A `must`
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 2, 2017
September 16th, 2017
A relatively new course, with a great recognition by the Lange and square pools at the 9th and 18th holes and the architecturally special clubhouse. The place is a beautifully designed area with very varied and challenging holes. The restaurant was not open at this time of year. Green fee depends on the season (Sept. 450 / March 600 MAD) and offers a great value for money. There are also day passes. Caddies are not compulsory. A `must` for golfers in Marrakech.

Super value for money
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed April 14, 2017
A fantastic golf course - Super greens, fast and true, varied and sometimes unconventional design, some holes are extremely tricky.
18 holes incl trolley and range balls not counting approximately € 55. -
Very open, but there is always light wind goes, still enjoyable to play.
Very nice clubhouse restaurant is also ok. There are also beer and wine (not a given in Morocco) staff is very friendly and helpful.
I can only recommend.

Worth every Dirham
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 28, 2016
We (HCP 11 & 15) have played this system for the first time and were very pleased. Very well-kept area, friendly staff, have even traced the sandwich. Challenging and interesting layout but fair, super greens, especially the back nine are also scenic exciting for a young court. Conclusion: Complete success.

Great design and very relaxed atmosphere
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 21, 2016
We (HC 8 and 35) have played Noria on 19.12.2016 and here felt from the start very well. Cheap green fees (500MAD), very hard-working staff, excellent practice facilities and a clear, compact and free hole overview on a vibrantly printed Folder.
The holes are varied and interesting to play and knows also quite athletic. The fairways and greens in excellent condition and the planting has mainly really lovely, attractive and at the same time designed relaxing. We have during the round very many employees observed when working and all made a comfortable impression and seemed very motivated.
The clubhouse and restaurant we could unfortunately due to time constraints not judge, but in any case it is great designed and welcoming.
For us Noria is one of the absolute best places in Marrakech and we will play it at the next visit back again.

Modern dessign, still too new
3.0 of 5 starsReviewed December 16, 2015
Range balls for free. No Caddy duty (Trolley) Square still new. Discounts not yet covered. Rock hard fairways. Fast greens, breaks but not visible yet. The place is all around not finished.
1. nine completely open - around streets.
2. nine z. T. already lateral vegetation (oleander etc.) ditches.
Between the greens and tees z. T. long ways.
The greens and water ditches idiosyncratic architecturally designed. (Square greens, straight gullies in concrete enclosure ...) Great (architectural) clubhouse.
Locker Rooms with electric. lockable box (enter number) !!!

Great new place in Marrakech
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 18, 2015
We played today Noria (from white) and it was a dream. The place is very modern designed, complex fairway divisions, first-class greens. It's going to compare with Royal and Palmeraie little and we were able to enjoy the round correctly. Danger; necessarily take a cart. The distances between the holes are partly considerably. The place is very spacious. The service from the Caddy master very well.

Perhaps in a year sehrt well?
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed February 3, 2015
The color of the fairways are certainly getting used to.
Condition of the fairways 3 stars The Green but are in perfect condition. 5 stars because the place is still new, I would be able to assess the condition better in a year.
Noria can play, but not a must!

Almost perfect...
4.0 of 5 starsReviewed January 3, 2015
Travel time: in late December 2014 Hcp we were 7 and 36 To escape the beginning of the winter in Morocco D times what we both knew not to try. As a golfer is ideal for a week in Marrakech, because there are 8 places here and we could play a different course every day. The travel time (December 27th to January 04) is highly recommended, under Tags nearly 22 degrees and cloudless sky, only in the evening it is cool. Sweatshirt / sweater / windbreaker in the morning hours is a must...
Here is the review of played clubs from us today Noria
Total system / layout: 5 stars
Condition Fairways: 4 stars
Condition Green: 5 stars
Driving Range: 4 stars
Clubhouse: still under construction
Services: 4 stars
Pro Shop: still under construction
Green fee 70 EUR per person; Cart 30 EUR - no caddies available
Do not be put off by the sometimes brown fairways - there will be racing venues that will look exactly (see 2014 US Open) and still play on super are...
Again, we had a rock-hard ground expected but were pleasantly surprised. The layout of the tracks is often spectacular with some blind discounts. This is also one of the few criticisms: Information about the hole layout should be found either on the tees or on the scorecard! Even more distance markings would be desirable - not everyone has a sprinkler meters value.
For this, we were told for the first time and moved in that distance to center are green and we were asked after the round after our impressions and desired improvements - Top!
Otherwise great place with imaginative tracks, very very good greens (which might have something faster may be) and strategically placed bunkers, some nasty little pot bunker in the fairway.
The total space is brand new (opened Aprikl 2014), the future certainly very beautiful club house is nearing completion and overall the club needs a good year before it gets 5 stars from us.
Until then worth a visit and very good 4 star.

A must in Marrakech!
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed November 2, 2014
I can give my "prescribing" in all respects only LAW. This place - only been open a few months - is already in top condition and, when everything is grown world class! Interesting design - Par 3 me rectangular water obstacle and rectangular Green, great clubhouse design (not finished yet). And a great price-performance ratio! Turks in Belek, take you an example. Buggy worth, here the price is right!

Good desiign; very well maintained; beautiful planting
5.0 of 5 starsReviewed October 18, 2014
The place is architecturally very well done, only been open for 6 months and in very good condition. Although the terrain is flat, the fairways are different and all have their own character. The course is from the black tea very athletic to play (6546 meters). From the yellow room for mediocre players is very fair and forgiving as the fairways are wide enough. Bunkers and Wassehindernisse are good and fair place. The greens are in excellent condition, fast and faithful.
Between the fairways there for the eye many beautiful plantings make the parkland course also for enjoyment player to Bijou.
The restaurant is currently still under construction, but will be safe with lots of glass with the white tent roof and the airy architecture for a cozy place. I'll be back here!
