The course is steeped in history, having once been the home of 1886 Open Champion David "Deacon" Brown. As a classic links layout, it challenges golfers with coastal breezes, blind tee shots, and large double greens. Holes like "Sandy Bunker" require strategic precision over natural gullies to find the target.
