Established in 1933, Neath Golf Club is situated on a plateau above the Neath Valley near Cadoxton, offering commanding views from the Welsh mountains to the sea. Designed by the renowned James Braid, this classic heathland course utilizes the natural terrain to create a fair but testing challenge. Players must navigate heather, gorse, dry stone walls, and firm, undulating greens that demand accuracy. The course is famous for its signature 15th hole, where the tee shot is played from a rock outcrop to a fairway some 80 feet below. The clubhouse, featuring large panoramic windows, provides a relaxing setting to enjoy the scenery after a round.
