This is a superior par 72 innaugurated in 1.999, designed and built by Dave Thomas. The condition of the course is magnificent, with excellent fairways and roughs plus welcoming greens. The views all over the resort are absolutely fascinating, especially from tee 18 from where you will see the African Coast and Gybraltar. This course is owned by the best hotels in Marbella, the Marbella Club and the Puente Romano Hotels, meaning that the level of service provided is excellent. Without a doubt, Marbella Club Golf Resort is a must when visiting Costa del Sol.

We played the course in mid-May 2025 and were pleasantly surprised. The course is very hilly, and even athletic players should treat themselves to a golf cart. The fairways are interestingly laid out, and you'll occasionally encounter a "blind shot." However, the course is fair, and you won't be penalized for a good shot. The greens were fast and true to the line—very good! After your round, you should stop by the clubhouse—good food and friendly service! We'd love to come back!

You should definitely take a cart, the tracks go quite uphill/downhill, at least on holes 1-12. The course is fair, even if there are a few holes where you have to be careful that the ball stays on the plateau and doesn't come back towards you (holes 3,6, 8,12 and 14). I call holes 5-8 Amen Corner, starts with a great par4 downhill, and then 3 par5 holes that are really tough. From the 13th hole the course becomes wide and open and you play in beautiful nature. Finally, a great par5 that you can happily finish with a birdie. A wonderful place with very friendly staff and the restaurant with a great terrace is also recommended! Always my pleasure
