Little links dream in Sussex!

On our Surrey & Sussex golf trip, I deliberately included a links course. In temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius, we played the redesigned links course, which, in my experience, is seriously underrated in the UK links course rankings!
Fringe pot bunkers, elevated, shaved greens, burnt-out and bone-dry fairways, and beautiful dune hills fronting the sea, which can only be seen from a tee. In the background, the completely renovated ancient clubhouse and Littlehampton's sailing harbor. The terrace tables are almost on the 18th green!
The restaurant is on the upper floor and from the outside staircase you have a direct view over the square.
Not a great links course, but a traditional and decent links course! 4.5 - 5 stars!

I was allowed to play Littlehampton Golf Club today. Luckily two English gentlemen took me along and showed me how to do a left course right. Let it go flat and roll... And how to get out of the deep bunkers, as they usually have little sand due to the wind.
From two tees you have views of the beach and the English Channel. Otherwise, you play behind the dunes, which does not really defuse the wind. All in all a great experience.
