Characteristics
Situated on the edge of Cheltenham, Lilley Brook Golf Club offers a classic parkland experience established in 1922. Designed by the legendary Dr. Alister MacKenzie, the course is defined by mature trees lining every hole and strategic bunkering. The layout is distinct, with the first twelve holes on undulating lower slopes, while the final six rise to reveal spectacular views of the Cotswolds and Malvern Hills. Excellent practice facilities and a welcoming clubhouse complete the offering.

A wonderful Parkland course near the centre of Cheltenham

Having played at this course on numerous occasions it is quiet incredible how much this course continues to improve. It is a really great course to test your golf skills.
It would be recommended to book a buggy so that you can really enjoy your round. The course has some of the most spectacular holes overlooking Cheltenham and into Wales.
The Clubhouse has a wonderful terrace overlooking the 18th and 2nd green where you can enjoy a drink whilst taking in the beautiful surrounds.
Would recommend you try this course.

During our holiday, we played 6 places in Middle England and Wales. All were very well maintained and in good condition. However, this has surpassed all. The first 11 holes are characterized by a beautiful parkland with old trees.
Then it goes uphill. Shots in deep valleys! Grandiose views on the beautiful surroundings and also on the nearby Cheltenham.
Clubhouse and terrace seem nice, but we did not stay there. Therefore no assessment.
The place is really fun!
