The course is famously noted for its exceptional putting surfaces, once described by an R&A agronomist as the best parkland greens encountered. The signature 10th hole is a highlight—a visually stunning short Par 3 played from an elevated tee surrounded by mature trees. Beyond golf, the club boasts a fascinating cultural heritage: in 1957, The Quarrymen (who evolved into The Beatles) played a historic audition here.
