Characteristics
Located in the Finnish lake district of Sastamala, Lakeside Golf presents golfers with two distinct 18-hole courses. The classic Järvenranta course (1992) features a front nine that hugs the shores of Lake Riippilänjärvi, offering scenic water hazards before transitioning into undulating forest terrain. In contrast, the Pirunpelto course (2005) is known for its rugged beauty, characterized by steep cliffs and the glacial stone fields ("Devil's Fields") that give it its name. This layout demands strategy over power. The facility is completed by excellent practice areas including grass tees, and the Kartanoravintola restaurant, where players can relax on the terrace overlooking the courses.
