Characteristics
La Zagaleta is one of the youngest golf courses at the Costa del Sol. In the middle of a nature reserve this course overwhelms with a varied flora and fauna. The fantastic view over the mountains from Benhavis to Gibraltar is however reserved to members and their guests only. All in all it's said to be one of the most beautiful courses at the Costa del Sol.

If you're lucky enough to play here.. do it! Stunning views, incredible conditions, challenging courses and maybe the best lunch in any clubhouse in the world. The staff is exemplary!

Impeccably maintained and with a layout that's hard to beat. The fun starts right from the first hole. You'll find yourself wondering how far it is and where your drive should land. Every hole is unique and appealing. The motto here is "have fun," don't take your score too seriously, and simply invest a few balls for a great round of golf. Since there are few groups playing, the restaurant is understandably only partially open.

Played in March 2025. New Course. The course is exceptional in terms of layout, condition, and views, as well as the green fees. Some of the fairways are spectacularly clear.
