Founded in 1893 and affectionately known as the 'Old Lady', De Koninklijke Haagsche is the oldest golf club in the Netherlands. Beautiful historic golf course and club

I played this golf course a number of times back in the 1970s. Also played in a Dutch Open pro am there in the same period. It’s a delightful, beautiful golf course and club, very historic and the membership is very knowledgeable. I remember a cartoon in the bar of two ladies playing on the green and one says to the other “ the nearest I’ve come to a hole in one is six !!”
Always stuck in my mind.

On old hilly dunes covered with shrubs and trees, Haagsche is an absolute top spot!
Well groomed to play tricky and exposed to the wind relentlessly, presents the Ancient Links at its best! For me among the top 5 Hollands, if equal to the fairy of 150, - € even for Holland over the border!
Still clear 5 stars for these links Inland Pearl just outside The Hague...
