Amazing!

I was playing today and I was the first player on the course... but I was completely astonished how good were fairways & greens, despite one day ago was a strong rain!!!
The booking was very nice, even today I have spoken with a friendly lady from Reception and everything was really nice about changes and everything.
About the golf design... I had a deja-vu feeling : it is more or less like GLORIA NEW COURSE from BELEK, without so much water... and between the trees is a not very friendly semi-rough.
It was really easy to find out from highway, but honestly I can't understand why is so CHEAP!!! I mean the greenfee was 4 times less than in SARFVIK, HELSINKI for an example and quality was more or less the same... ok, there are 36 holes, but still!

Greates course in Norway

Kongsvinger is a stunning course. The lush undulating fairways cut through a natural pine forest with tall slender pines surrounding every fairway. All the holes are different in natur and caracter. Playing the course is like walking from room to room in the forest. Lot of the holes provide a stiff challange With par 5's and 4's on 650y and 470y from championship tees. The variation of the holes are fantastic and at least 9 of them would any course in the world be happy to call their signature hole. It is a real championship course!

Very scenic

Very scenic place Many forest aisles, pretty lakes, good greens - not extremely fast, very friendly pro shop.
Certainly one of the beautiful places in Norway that is worth a visit. He doesn't quite match the spectacular Lofoten Links he competes with in golf guides. Oslo GC is also one size bigger!
