Kingussie Golf Club offers a historic golfing experience in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Established in 1891, the course is a unique collaboration between two legends: Old Tom Morris laid out the original nine, while Harry Vardon expanded it to 18 holes in 1908. Situated within the Cairngorms National Park, the course plays over undulating upland terrain with the River Gynack coming into play. Though not overly long at Par 67, it demands precision. Hidden in the highlands of Scotland, this is what the Scottish call themselves 'a hidden gem'. Translated: a hidden treasure. An old highland village, a lovely clubhouse with traditional red interior, and a course to fall in love with.
Testing holes, lot of difference in hights, heather, rocks, little streams crossing the holes, and beautiful views all around. Kingussie is a course that will win every golfer with it''s charmes. It's not for nothing that we came in twice form Holland to play this course. And after the great 18th there's always the Scottish hospitality in the 19th...!
