Characteristics
In a rural environment with firs, spruces and birches it turns out difficult to concentrat on the golfing. Lots of construction sites on and around the fairways.
Still, it's a beautiful, challenging course. Hole 15 - once again over the abundant water - is almost impossible for high handicappers (150 meter carry!).

We played the course at the beginning of April 24. We booked the green fee and tee time online for the weekend and were pleasantly surprised that it only cost €70 per person.
When we got there, it was clear to us why. All the greens were aerated, hard to putt, lots of bunkers were being rebuilt and marked blue. It takes a good 15 minutes to get to the driving range and back, as tee 1 is right at the entrance to the course.
So plan plenty of time... Otherwise it's a wonderful place that, if everything is in order, is definitely top notch. The main building and resort hotel have been demolished. Lots of construction fencing. It doesn't look like work is being done here. It won't be ready before 2025... What a pity...

We (handicap 13 and 20) played Kempferhof in June 2023. No information when booking by phone, the hotel and clubhouse are being renovated and there are no changing rooms and showers available. Still full green fee, that's not okay. If this is important to you, you can certainly wait until next year.
Everything has already been said about the course, but in the long run the permanent water hazards are annoying and on lane 15 you need 160 meters of carry from Weiss over the water. There are also many intermediate paths, so that in the end you can safely walk around 8 kilometers.
For me, an exciting golf experience looks different, but as always in life, that's a matter of taste.
